Overview

Wohali Golf Course, located in Coalville, UT, is seeking a full-time Bag Drop/Valet for a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf operation. This seasonal position is intended to last 6 months or less and supports daily guest and member service operations related to bag handling, valet service, cart staging, practice area support, and overall golf operations.

Experience Required

• Previous golf course experience preferred.
• Previous valet and/or caddie experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to meet and perform physical requirements and work effectively in an environment typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, high places, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• Ability to work in a moderate to loud noise environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Display a professional appearance and attitude and remain courteous to members and guests at all times.
• Safely valet member and guest vehicles as needed.
• Bring golf carts from cart shelter to cart staging area and check carts for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety considerations.
• Load and unload bags from vehicles onto golf carts.
• Transport range balls to each end of the range and fill appropriate containers.
• Maintain proper appearance and supply levels for all practice areas and service golfers while practicing.
• Anticipate and comply with members' and guests' needs while using the learning center and monitoring the first tee, as needed.
• Return golf carts to cart shelter; remove used items; check carts for damage; wash carts; park them in shelter; and connect charger cables.
• Advise the Pro Shop of items found on the course for lost and found.
• Maintain the security, cleanliness, and order of all golf equipment in storage.
• Tow carts to the cart maintenance facility when carts break down and assist in maintenance and repair when necessary.
• Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned, including golf shop coverage and assistance.
