As an Outside Service Attendant at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club, you are the face of the club and the first point of contact for our members and guests. Your primary mission is to provide a seamless, welcoming and friendly experience from the moment a player arrives at the bag drop until they head home. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining a pristine environment and delivering exceptional hospitality.
Essential Responsibilities
Member & Guest Services
Warm Welcome: Greet every member and guest by name, assisting with golf bags at the bag drop, setting them up for their round, and providing directions or club information as needed.Â
Professionalism: Maintain a polished appearance and a friendly, proactive "can-do" attitude at all times.
Communication: Coordinate with the Pro Shop regarding tee times and any special member requests.
Club Cleaning: Provide complimentary club cleaning for members as they finish their rounds.
Fleet Management & Cart Staging
Staging: Prepare the daily "staging line" with clean, fully stocked golf carts (including towels, scorecards, pencils, and sand/seed bottles).
Detailing: Wash and deep-clean carts after every use, ensuring they meet the club's standards of excellence.
Maintenance: Perform routine battery checks, tire pressure inspections, and report any mechanical issues or damage to management immediately.
Practice Facility Operations
Range Maintenance: Use the mechanical picker to "clear" the practice range of golf balls throughout the day.
Ball Processing: Wash and sort all retrieved range balls to ensure a clean product for the next user.
Inventory Control: Monitor the practice tee constantly, ensuring all hitting stations are fully stocked with balls and that the area remains organized and free of debris.
General Facility Upkeep
Valet Area: Keep the bag drop, cart barn, and staging areas swept and organized.
Cleaning/Restocking: Maintain work areas, practice areas and on course restrooms in a neat and clean manner and make sure to keep these areas fully stocked with supplies.Â
Opening Procedures: Open the building, clean up any trash or debris that has accumulated overnight, set up the practice area, valet area and stage golf carts for play.
Closing Procedures: Break down and reset the practice area for the next day, take out trash, secure the cart fleet at night, ensuring all units are plugged into chargers and the facility is locked down.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (golf bags, crates of range balls).
Ability to stand and remain active for the duration of a shift in various weather conditions.
A basic understanding of the game of golf is preferred but not required.
Must have a valid driver's license/permit.
