Whiting Door Mfg. Corp. is hiring Production Assembly Team Members to build quality roll-up and dry freight doors across our Manufacturing Operation. You'll work hands-on with air tools and machinery to assemble doors, channels, and panels to customer specifications and cross-train across multiple stations within the area.
What You'll Do
Depending on your assignment, daily work may include:
Assembling completed or halved doors by joining panels with the proper hinges and rivets per job paperwork Building door tops and bottoms on standard or ergonomic assembly tables Operating rivet guns, bucking bars, and drill guns Cutting and punching top and bottom channels on angle department machines Drilling panels and fastening special hardware (forklift plates, decals, etc.) per order specifications Inspecting finished doors for high/low rivets and drilling out rivets to correct errors Keeping worktables and bins stocked with components and racking completed panels Labeling parts with job numbers and keeping stock organized Flush routing rivets, applying decals, and peeling protective films Cleaning your work area at the end of each shift and assisting other stations as needed

Minimum Requirements
Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math Able to lift 50+ lbs consistently Familiarity with air tools (rivet guns, drill guns, etc.)
